On the fateful night of April 14, 1912, first-class passengers aboard the Titanic were treated to a lavish 10-course dinner. Serving as the ultimate palate cleanser between the heavy courses was the Punch Romaine (Roman Punch).
Originally crafted by legendary French chef Auguste Escoffier, this elegant cocktail is a refreshing, icy blend of:
White rum
White wine and sparkling Champagne
Fresh orange and lemon juices
A touch of sweetness, served over a mound of crushed ice
